Here Is a 300 MPG See-Through Car
Attack of the Show last night profiled two new "green" concept cars; the GM En-V, which looks like a bubbly deathtrap with unimpressive specs (only 24 miles on a charge?), and a group of students' Bridgestone F1-style 300 MPG roadster.
The F1 looks pretty cool (more see-through bodies please), but with the lightness required for that mpg rating would probably fly away during any hard turn. Still, it's incredible that students from a college you've never heard of are building super efficient concepts while the best American companies can do is 50 or so MPG.
