Dexter Season 5 Premiere: What Now?
Last season's cliffhanger finale of Dexter left us with our collective jaws on the floor, so it's safe to say we've been clamoring for this season to finally get started. Tonight's premiere didn't disappoint and reeled us right back in.
RITA'S DEAD! EEK! Murdered by the Trinity Killer (John Lithgow) in his final act. Alright, now you're all up to date. So wrong. So crazy. So many questions running rampant before the season starts: How will Dexter move on without his doting wife? Can a serial killer function as a single father? What will happen with Rita's annoying little kids? Which character will wind up sleeping with this year's villian? Where to begin? Well, let's start from the jump:

"It was me..." What? No it wasn't. Why would you say that Dex? You idiot. You socially awkward, emotionally stunted maniac. Now they're going to think it was you. Why would you do that?
Oh man. Well, on to the next problem: telling Rita's family.

Ugh. Man, I hate those kids. I mean, sure their mother was just murdered and all, but Christ they're so whiny. Can't Dexter just kill them already?
Now back to the good stuff. While attempting to skip town Dexter ran across one of the more loathsome people on the planet. Let's see how this new, numb, scared Dexter reacts upon confrontation.

Ooooh. How's your face, douche? There's no better way to come to terms with your grief than by caving in some carny's skull. And how about that wail Dexter let out? Clearly he's dealing with some major issues. Where will he go from here? I guess you'll just have to tune in and find out. See you next week.
