Last month, Bon Appetit editor Barbara Fairchild announced she was leaving the magazine (which is relocating to NYC). We hear that the new editor should be announced this week—and that there are three contenders.

Last week, WWD floated the names of former Cookie editor Pilar Guzman and Epicurious editor Tanya Steel as contenders. Today, a tipster tells us that the pool of likely candidates stands at three: Pilar Guzman; GQ Style Editor Adam Rapoport; and Bon App deputy editor Hugh Garvey.

[There's also a rumor that former NYT restaurant critic Frank Bruni tossed his name in, though he's no longer in contention. Know more? Email me.]
