The League might underbill itself as a show about fantasy football, but it's so much more. If you're looking for an ample successor to conversational shows about irksome social miscues and embarrassments a la Seinfeld or Curb, look no further.

The show does a great job of highlighting the most annoying details of our age (last week they mentioned the over-googler, someone who researches an anonymous person's life far too much). They seem to strike a balance between jokes and skewering the foibles of the modern day. And if you're not into that, Nick Kroll, Paul Scheer, and Mark Duplass are funny dudes. And in case you need more, it's made by a Producer of Curb Your Enthusiasm, so there.
