With beau Andrew Cuomo headed to Albany soon to assume the Governorship of New York, Food Network personality and champion of tablescapes Sandra Lee will have a new locale to set her decorating sights on: the New York Executive Mansion.

The place is hard to top, with 29,500 square feet, 40 rooms, a full staff of butlers, cooks, security personnel, and cleaners, not to mention a tennis court and two swimming pools. There's not much in the way of a cozy feel, though-the Victorian more closely resembles a museum than a home fit for family life. One bright spot for Lee-and her fixation with letting all hell break loose on tabletops-is the breakfast room, which was converted from a porch in 1916 by legendary design doyenne Elsie de Wolfe. In two months, who knows, we might see the sort of change that screams out with the artifacts, in with the themed dining tables!—although the very thought of a possible Posh Politics Party is enough to cringe.
