It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia finished it's season with a spectacular Christmas episode. Following in the footsteps of Community, the gang gets stop-motion animated while Frank tells a story from his hospital bed, where the gang visited their "dead" friend.

The entire episode is worth watching, but let me sum up the jist of what's going on here for you. Frank kicks off the episode is full asshole mode, purchasing Dennis and Dee's dream gifts for himself. Dennis and Dee decide that they're sick of Frank's antics—especially because he's not even their real father—until the bar gets a call from the hospital that he's dead.
