Let's all Get Our Hopes Up About Catching Biggie's Murderer
Biggie Smalls, the illest, was murdered in L.A. in 1997. Thirteen years! And not one arrest yet! There have been documentaries and posthumous albums and one million R.I.P. graffiti walls, but no arrests. But: the investigation's being "reinvigorated" (again).
According to one law enforcement source, the investigation into the 13-year-old unsolved case was "reinvigorated" months ago as a result of new information, but the source would not elaborate further because of the ongoing investigation that includes the Los Angeles Police Department, L.A. County District Attorney's Office and the FBI.
Huzzah, a task force! Perhaps they can snag Tupac's killer too, if they have time left over. Pardon or sarcastic lack of enthusiasm. But the world's been waiting for 13 years, so it would be foolish to get too excited. The shooter was reportedly "an African-American man wearing a suit and bow tie." Who worked for Suge Knight. Haha, just joking about that last part, for legal and personal safety reasons. But seriously, if you see a black man in a suit, arrest him immediately. [Pic: Flickr]
