University of Colorado sophomore Nic Ramos paid off his entire $14,309.51 tuition with a 33-pound duffel bag of cash—dollar bills and change. He did this to show how expensive college is, or something.

Ramos told the New York Times: "It's just an absurd amount of money. I wanted to give the school a different way to look at tuition." It took three university employees about an hour to count all the money.

This is a very effective strategy. In the next couple days, shamed University of Colorado officials will undoubtedly announce that they never realized how much money they were charging and all tuition will be free from now on.
