In a very scientific new science study, researchers found that good-looking people (somehow that was determined, scientifically) had higher IQs than Johnny Weak-Chins or Suzie Beak-Noses. So now we know for sure that hot people are inherently better, especially men.

Yes, the science geniuses who conducted the study found that the correlation between pleasing features and intelligence was stronger with men than it was with women, mostly because why would hot women have to be intelligent in any way? No one cares! Just stand around a look good, toots. But attractive men are probably encouraged by society to pursue everything they want, which could include education and career success and whatnot. That's just gender politics, man.

But listen, don't take this thing too seriously. It may foretell of future generations of gorgeous brainiacs, but really don't take it too seriously:

More than 52,000 people in the UK and the States were measured on academic progress and intelligence as well as being scored on their appearance.

Kanazawa added: "If more intelligent men are more likely to attain higher status, and if men of higher status are more likely to marry beautiful women, then, given intelligence and attractiveness are heritable, there should be a positive correlation between intelligence and physical attractiveness in the children."

But he warned his findings were statistical and should not be applied to individuals.

He said: "It goes without saying that our contention that beautiful people are more intelligent is purely scientific.

"It is not a prescription for how to treat or judge others."

Purely scientific, of course.
