Famous playboy Leonardo DiCaprio has dated a string of beautiful models, but there's really only one special person in his life. Also today:

  • Leo and Marty sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G. Or making lots of movies together at least. Yes, Leo DiCaprio and Marty Skorzee will be teaming up once more (after Gangs of New York, The Aviator, The Departed, Shutter Island, and Big Mommas: Like Father, Like Son) to make The Wolf of Wall Street, about Jacob Black graduating from school on the res and moving from Forks to New York City.* [Deadline]
  • Yayyy Ben Linus! Everyone's favorite bug-eyed creep Michael Emerson is climbing aboard a pilot produced by his Lost captain J.J. Abrams. This one is called Person of Interest, and is about an ex-CIA agent teaming up with Emerson's eccentric billionaire to help find and kill Jacob Black fight crime in New York. Sounds fun! Or, you know, not. [THR]
  • In case you missed it, NBC has found the lead for its Wonder Woman reboot. It's Jacob Black! the dessicated remains of Lynda Carter! Adrianne Palicki! Yes, Tyra from Friday Night Lights. I have mixed emotions about this. First, I'm glad that Palicki is getting work because she is a very good actress [Angry note: I was going to link to the clip of Tyra reading her college essay to Landry because it is maybe the most tear-inducing moment on a highly tear-inducing series, but stupid NBC has to rip every single second of their content off of YouTube the minute they see it, but then don't put the same clips up on Hulu or their own website, because they are fucking idiots, mostly.] But I wish it wasn't with something so... not promising sounding. Secondly, it is annoying that male superheroes get big movies and the ladies get a TV show. Thor, freaking stupid Thor, gets his own movie, while Wonder Woman is relegated to fart factory NBC. The A Team gets a big stupid movie, while Bionic Woman gets the booby prize on... failure palace NBC. Yeah, sure, the Charlie's Angels got two movies, but that's the exception! Otherwise, the whole system's outta order, dontcha think? [EW]
  • OK, we've got a ton more TV pilot news today, so let's just get to it. They get one joke each. Christine Lahti has been cast as the lead on CBS's The Doctor, about a mom reconnecting with her daughter over mutual doctoring. Well Lahti da! I Chicago hope it's better than her last series, Jack & Bobby. [Deadline] Mike O'Malley and Rachael Harris have been cast on this show about a family on a road trip that's also going to star Rob Huebel. Cool cast so far! I hope O'Malley doesn't have a gay son who is also the ghost of a 1940s lady on this one too. [Deadline] Orlando Jones will play the lead on ABC's Identity, about identity theft. Tampa McGee and Tallahassee Jenkins remain unemployed. [THR] Laura Benanti, Tony winning Broadway actress, has signed on to play an aging bunny on poop machine NBC's Playboy pilot. A Broadway actress? Now it's bound to be sexy! [Deadline] Ryan Murphy and his Glee pal Brad Falchuk have sold a pilot to FX called American Horror Story. It's about the second season of Glee. [Deadline] Phew! That's it.

*If you want to know what it's really about: It's based on a memoir about a Wall Street power player whose life devolves into drug addiction and corruption. So another lighthearted, non-psychologically harrowing venture from the boyfriend & boyfriend team of Leo and Marty.
