Washington news station MyFoxDC recently posted this frightening surveillance video of a Metro stop in October, during Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert's "Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear." The downward escalator's brakes fail, throwing everyone into a human pile at the bottom. Six people were injured.

The good news is that Metro has fixed all of these escalator problems. Oh, except for the one yesterday morning, when an escalator suddenly halted and threw everyone into a brand new human pile. Otherwise: fixed.
