Former Governor of Alaska Sarah Palin believes President Obama was born in Hawaii. She said so just yesterday! But even so, she "appreciates" failed businessman Donald Trump's (very public) quest to discover the president's true origins.

Palin was appearing on a Fox News show called Justice with Judge Jeanine when the host—"Judge Jeanine," we guess?—asked her about Trump's ongoing search for publicity/President Obama's birth certificate. To which Palin, who gets most of her information from email forwards, replied:

I appreciate that the Donald wants to spend his resources on something that so interests him and so many Americans, you know more power to him....

I think that he was born in Hawaii because there was the birth announcement put in the newspaper. But obviously there is something there that the president doesn't want people to see on that birth certificate, that he sees going to great lengths to make sure it isn't shown. And that's perplexing for a lot of people.

What would President Obama be hiding, if not his birthplace? (His gender?) Palin doesn't bother to speculate, which is fine, because we have a splitting headache already, just looking at her face and hearing her talk.
