Inspecting video from a meet and greet between Czech President Vaclav Klaus and Chilean leader Sebastian Pinera, a Czech TV show noticed their president inspecting a fancy pen, then surreptitiously pocketing it with a guilty look on his face.

The video went viral in the Czech Republic after appearing on the show 168 Hours. (Does every country have a numbered hour show like 48 Hours?) Klaus' spokesman pleaded cultural relativity: "We at the Prague Castle always give such a pen to delegations, along with a notepad." The misunderstanding is because off all those extra hours they squeeze into their investigative TV shows, probably.

Yahoo! blog The Lookout notes that the last time America paid attention to Klaus, he was denying climate change on Glenn Beck's TV show. [YouTube, Reuters, The Lookout]
