Here's a trailer for the Sundance hit Martha Marcy May Marlene, a drama about a young woman who escapes from a cult, physically but not necessarily emotionally, and... Oh who cares about all that. Look, it's an Olsen!

Well, it's not one of the famous Olsens. No, it's not Mary-Kate or Ashley, it's their younger sister Elizabeth. She's decided to go the indie film route rather than the menacingly squeaky-clean family sitcom route for some reason, so here she is in her first notable picture. It looks prettily shot and features a cast of interesting actors — John Hawkes, Sarah Paulson, Hugh Dancy — and the storyline seems compelling, in a prurient sort of way. Sex slaves! Guns! Rural Catskills horror! If I had to choose between this and New York Minute to be my big-screen debut, I'd probably pick this. Well, no, that's not true. That wasn't honest of me. I'd pick New York Minute in a, well, you know. But I'm sure other people would pick this! Indies!
