A wildfire in New Mexico is now less than one mile from the Los Alamos National Laboratory — where nuclear weapons and other fun things are developed — and a spokesman from the Santa Fe National Forest called it a "very, very big concern, not only locally but nationally and globally." That sounds bad.

Meanwhile, a spokesman for the Los Alamos Lab said, "Protected areas include all hazardous and radioactive facilities and our proton accelerator and supercomputing centers." While we're not too sure what happens when a proton accelerator is overcome by a wildfire, we can't imagine that anything good could come of it.
