Scientists have concluded that a woman's ability to tell apart gay men from straight men increases when they are ovulating, according to a study published this week in the journal Psychological Science.

The men weren't in the room with them. Rather, the test subjects — 40 female undergrads from Tufts — were shown 80 photos of men's faces. Half were straight, half were gay. The closer the subjects were to peak ovulation, the better their gaydar was. (I'm guessing they just gravitated to the cute ones, and then immediately tossed them into a "probably gay" discard pile — just like they do in real life?)
