Not content with calling the hotel maid accusing former IMF chief Dominique Strauss-Kahn of rape a whore just the once, the New York Post has doubled down on its charge that she worked as a prostitute. And this time, they've got another single, anonymous source... from the prosecution!

Yep, it looks as though District Attorney Cy Vance has decided that his office hasn't really fucked up this case badly enough yet, so why not just tell women across the city that if they attempt to bring sexual assault cases forward, even the people who are supposed to help them will call them whores?

"While she was under our supervision, there were multiple 'dates' and encounters at the hotel on the DA's dime," the source said of her paid hotel room. "That's a great deal for her. She doesn't have to cover her expenses."

[...]

"I can't say with 100 percent certainty that it's not true," a senior prosecutor said about whether the woman was turning tricks while at the hotel.

So, was the maid's union still pimping her out while she was under care of the DA, as the Post claimed yesterday? Or was this a different kind of prostitution? Who cares! All you need to know from the Post is that the woman is a whore, and as everyone knows, whores can't possibly get raped.
