A new branch of Duane Reade, the New York City-based drugstore owned by Walgreens, is opening on Wall Street and it is the largest Duane Reade ever built. Thrillingly, its massive size (22,000 square-feet) is matched in elegance and amenities.

Normally Duane Reade stores and their ilk are meant simply for standing slack-jawed in an unendingly long line waiting to buy the boring necessities of everyday life — toothpaste, deodorant, sad single bag of Halloween candy. But not so for the new Duane Reade on Wall Street! This is a place of decadence and luxury:

It includes opulent amenities like a hair salon for shampoos, blow dries and blowouts; a nail bar for manicures and massages; a pharmacy with a doctor on hand for consultation during the week; and a grocery market featuring sushi and smoothie bars. There is also a stock ticker.

Wow! Now I'm no professional food master or anything, but my guess is that sushi from Duane Reade is probably the best sushi, right? And, as an amateur hairologist, a Duane Reade haircut is also probably equal to none in the haircut department.

So basically go live in the Duane Reade on Wall Street and never leave. Only unlike regular Duane Reades, you'll choose to never leave.
