Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi may be a corrupt misogynist who's largely succeeded at turning his country into an international joke—but don't let anyone say he doesn't have stamina in the bedroom!

Newly-released wiretaps of conversations between Berlusconi and "entrepreneur" Gianpaolo Tarantini—currently being investigated over allegations that he "paid women to sleep with Berlusconi"—are a goldmine of gross sexual braggadocio:

The newly published wiretaps give startling insight into Berlusconi's sexual appetites. "Last night I had a queue outside the door of the bedroom… There were 11 … I only did eight because I could not do it anymore," Berlusconi told Tarantini in 2009. "Listen, all the beds are full here … this lot won't go home, even at gunpoint."

Berlusconi, who boasted to one TV showgirl that he was only "prime minister in my spare time", told Tarantini in September 2008 that he needed to reduce the flow of women since he had a "terrible week" ahead seeing Pope Benedict, Nicolas Sarkozy, Angela Merkel and Gordon Brown.

First of all: Gordon Brown! Ha! Second of all, as The Guardian writes, the wiretaps are more than just sources of embarrassment for Berlusconi (not that he's ever felt shame, about anything)—they "throw doubt on Berlusconi's claims that he has never paid for sex." In one conversation, he describes the women invited to his infamous "Bunga Bunga" parties as "well provided for"; in another, one of Tarantini's women sends a text from Berlusconi's mansion asking "Who pays? Do we ask him or you?" Silvio! Maybe time for you to follow through on that threat to leave.
