A helicopter has crashed in the East River. Three people are reportedly trapped and NYPD rescuers are in the water.

Update: According to the Post, five people were on board; only four have been rescued—two in serious condition—and "divers were looking for a fifth passenger." You can watch a livestream of the rescue here.

Update: The missing passenger has been pulled from the water. She was was pronounced dead at the scene.
