It took a whole fleet of NYPD officers, both uniformed and in plainclothes, to take down just a handful of young women at the 125th St 2/3 subway station on Friday night. Between the bumbling cops and the screeching girls, no one here ends up looking good.

Apparently the cops confronted the girls after they were caught jumping the turnstile to take the subway. When they tried to arrest them, they fought back by screaming, slapping, and hitting the police with their bags. After being handily outmatched by the girls, the cops finally got some backup, and the girls were finally apprehended. Jeez, people! All this for a $2.25 fare? [via AnimalNY]
