Occupy Wall Street's Zuccotti Park is the place for rappers and movie stars to see and be seen. A new rumor boosts the A-list cachet of the place: Christopher Nolan's new Batman movie might film some scenes there!

The LA Times reports that The Dark Night Rises will be filming for two weeks in New York City starting October 29th. And:

[A]ccording to a person briefed on actors' schedules who requested anonymity because production details were being kept confidential, cast members have been told the shoot could include scenes shot at the Occupy Wall Street protests.

The LAT says that Occupy Wall Street "won't necessarily factor in the storyline" but could be plugged into an existing plot element because of its "gritty authenticity." Which makes sense, because Bruce Wayne is most certainly a member of the 1%.
