Dead Body Found on Top of Truck Driving on Highway
It's always a bummer to get stopped by cops on the highway! But if your truck gets pulled over, it's better to be the driver than the dead body on top.
Virginia State Police pulled over a tractor-trailer on I-95 near Fairfax this afternoon, thanks to an observant motorist who happened to notice the corpse hitching a free ride on top of it:
Authorities said the truck was stopped in the southbound lanes by state police after receiving a call from a motorist who was on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge and apparently saw the body.
The matter is "under investigation" (one hopes!), and neither the body nor the method by which it came to be on top of a truck have been identified.
