Alfonso Cano, leader of left-wing guerrilla group FARC, was reportedly killed in a raid by the Colombian military. Cano, a middle-class intellectual, apparently shaved off his trademark bushy "middle-class intellectual" beard before he died; he was identified by his fingerprints.
