Occupy Finally Gets Its Radiohead Concert, Sorta
Back in September, the supposed Radiohead concert at Occupy Wall Street turned out to be a big old hoax. But Radiohead's Thom Yorke did perform at a secret show with fellow Brits Massive Attack and UNKLE for Occupy London protesters in the basement of a bank yesterday.
Per the Guardian, Yorke played a DJ set. It all sounded oh so very British:
Poets, dancers and comedians also performed to a packed room, and during the electronica and dub set lasting for two hours the crowd held up a banner which read: "This is just the beginning".
So, Occupy London got their Radiohead. Don't feel bad, Occupy Wall Street: You've always got Miley.
