You'd think that after Regis Philbin left his daytime talker that ratings would go down, right? Wrong! It seems he was keeping them down all along. Now that he's gone, more people are watching Live with [TK] and Kelly than ever!

This year the show averaged 3.93 million viewers in the weeks since Regis left. It only averaged 3.5 million for the some span of time last year. That's a small but not insignificant increase. Could it be that all those people were tuning in to see Kelly all along?! Now she's never going to get a cohost. She's just going to sit there at that table all alone rambling to the audience. It will be like The View, except the three other voices will only be in her head!
