Hugh Hefner’s Son Arrested for Domestic Violence
Hugh Hefner's 21-year-old son Marston Hefner was arrested late Sunday night on charges of domestic violence, so it will probably be at least a couple years before he's allowed to put on a dumb light show at the Grammys.
TMZ reported that police were called to the Pasadena home Hefner shared with his girlfriend, 2011 Playmate of the Year Claire Sinclair (née Clairissa Riccio), late Sunday night. Officers at the scene noted bruising on Sinclair's body, though Hefner denied having caused the injuries. He was ultimately charged with misdemeanor domestic violence, and has since been released on $20,000 bail.
Sinclair, 20, has stated she does not intend to press charges, on the condition that Hefner release a public apology and seek counseling. She said the following to TMZ, like a boss:
"I don't condone domestic violence, but if one ounce of good can come from this bad experience, then I can live with it and move on.
That is why I will not press charges against Marston Hefner if he keeps his word to give a public apology for physically abusing me on several occasions, and seeks psychiatric help for his anger issues."
In response to the allegations, Hugh Hefner released this unhelpful comment to People:
"If they care about each other, they'll patch it up."
