TMZ is breathless to tell you that The Hunger Games' Josh Hutcherson "tricks grocery store into selling him whiskey." The up-and-comer, who plays Peeta in the film and its inevitable sequels, is only 19 and has thus probably never tasted alcohol before. What could have pushed him to such vile deceit?

I guess the ability to afford a $170-bottle of Macallan whiskey is pretty tempting. But mere weeks ago, TMZ reports, Hutcherson revealed on camera that he thought the legal drinking age should be lowered to 18. Could this whiskey-buying stunt be a tactical move to spur the country into conversation?

The real question, of course, is why a celebrity would have to use his own fake ID to buy booze from a grocery store. And the answer, as far as I can tell, is that it's a slow news day.
