A Friendly Reminder: Don't Put Your Explosive Portable Meth Lab Down Your Pants
A scuffle between an Oklahoma Highway Patrol trooper and a fugitive ended Friday morning when the latter's portable meth lab exploded in his pants.
According to the incident report, the passenger of an SUV stopped for speeding took off after the trooper inquired about a chemical smell emanating from his pants. The trooper eventually caught up with 54-year-old Davis Williams, and the two began to tussle.
"After a brief struggle it was determined there was an active meth lab in his pants that burst during the struggle and got all over his body," trooper Shiloh Hall told News on 6.
Williams received medical attention at the scene before being transported to the Okmulgee County jail.
