It was an unwelcome sight for sure, but the tornado that swirled toward the farm in Harper, Kansas, where Caleb and Candra Pence were exchanging I do's ultimately provided a singularly memorable backdrop for their wedding photos.

"I don't know how on earth I will ever top this," wedding photographer Cate Eighmey told the Associated Press.

Being used to seeing twisters form at random around him, Mr. Pence, a Tornado Alley native, didn't mind the unexpected guest. "I had my mind on marrying my now wife," he said.
