PBS and Internet DJ Make Beautiful Mister Rogers Music Together
PBS and mash-up master John "melodysheep" Boswell of Symphony of Science fame have finally joined forces to launch a new video series entitled "PBS Icon Remixed."
No doubt there was very little discussion before they unanimously settled on the subject of the series' inaugural video: Mister Fred Rogers.
"When we discovered video mash-up artist John D. Boswell, aka melodysheep, on YouTube, we immediately wanted to work together," PBS Digital Studios wrote in the video's description. "Turns out that he is a huge Mister Rogers Neighborhood fan, and was thrilled at the chance to pay tribute to one of our heroes."
Is there anyone out there who isn't a huge Mister Rogers fan? Then they clearly haven't seen his Daytime Emmy Lifetime Achievement Award acceptance speech.
