Jim Greer, former Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, has good reason to make accusations about former governor Charlie Crist. But that doesn't make them any less juicy.

Greer faces criminal charges for allegedly paying himself to raise money for the Republican Party, but he contends that Crist approved of the deal. And according to Greer's lawyer Damon Chase, Crist has several other skeletons in his closet.

Now, keep in mind, all of these allegations have not been proven and may have no merit. That having been said, let's relish in them.

First, Crist is gay and had affairs with at least two men — both of whom he paid off to leave the state. Apparently, he also made a move on Greer when the two were at a hotel in Beverly Hills. As lawyer John Morgan put it, Crist would be "a sick S.O.B. to try to kiss Porky the Pig." (That would be Greer.)

Second, Crist enjoys the drink, to the extent that he did a lot of silly, embarrassing things while drunk and had to have his security detail cover for him. One incident in particular involved a drunk Crist trying to run people over with a golf cart.

Lawyers Chase and Morgan are now bumping heads over the accusations: Morgan says they're a cheap deflection, while Chase insists Crist is trying to pin his own wrongdoings on Greer.

This morning Crist responded to the allegations, calling them "a bunch of delusional lies." He alleges that the defense is attempting to get Crist to change his testimony and concede that he approved of Greer's self-financing — something Crist alleges just isn't true.

Despite the rumors, which Crist says amount to "witness tampering," the former governor insists that he will tell the truth and nothing but the truth, so help him God.
