The last two weeks have been nothing but stories of homeless men being attacked by zombies, so it's nice to take a break from all that — and read about homeless men being attacked by vampires instead.

Police in San Diego issued an APB yesterday for a suspect in the beating of a homeless man. The victim described the man who threatened him and kicked him until he bled as having "vampire teeth."

Officers successfully tracked down the suspect — also believed to be a homeless man — and charged him with felony assault.

"Last week Zombies, this week Homeless Vampires," said commenter Rob Davenport. "Next week flamboyantly gay Werewolves."
