First Lady of the small screen Betty White yesterday "popped in" for an unscheduled visit with President Barack Obama while in DC for a speaking engagement at the Smithsonian.

The nonagenarian recently made her fondness for Obama known when she tweeted that she "very, very much favors" him in the upcoming election. Endorsing a candidate was an unusual move for White, who has long kept her political views to herself.

Obama is also a big fan of the Golden Girl, and even appeared in a video tribute that played during White's 90th birthday extravaganza.
