Stitches were reportedly needed last night after someone in Drake's camp — possibly Drizzy himself — busted a bottle over Chris Brown's chin during a dust up between the two, allegedly over Rihanna.

Rumor has it that Rihanna cheated on Brown with Drake while the two were going out, and the two singers have been at loggerheads ever since.

MediaTakeOut — so take that with a grain of salt — reports that Brown tried to bury the hatchet by sending a bottle of champagne to Drake's table at New York's WIP nightclub, but the bottle was promptly returned with a message that read "I'm f*ckng the love of your life [Rihanna], deal with it," or something along those lines.

An altercation ensued, during which Drake allegedly punched Chris in the face before "someone" cracked his chin open with a bottle.

Brown went off on Twitter, calling Drake and his entourage "weak," and even posting a photo of his laceration. All tweets and the pic have since been removed.

TMZ confirmed with the NYPD that a fight between the two did indeed take place, and that five people sustained injuries, none of which were serious.

UPDATE: TMZ hears that it was Philly rapper Meek Mill, not Drake, who hit Brown over the head with a bottle. Further, Drake was on his way out when the kerfuffle started, and did not participate "in any wrongdoing of any kind." The source also claims the argument was not about Rihanna, but would not elaborate.
