Authorities in the Czech Republic city of Zlin rushed to save a 21-year-old woman who had climbed a 40-foot high-voltage transmission tower, believing it to be a bridge.

Police spokesman Jan Macalikova told reporters the woman had spent four hours smoking "super-strength skunk cannabis," which caused her to hallucinate. "She was convinced...that the [tower] was a bridge across the Morava river," said Macalikova.

Aided by drug counsellors, police were able to convince the woman to climb back down on her own after two hours on the tower.

"She received treatment at hospital for her drugs consumption but was otherwise unhurt," said the spokesman. "She's lucky she didn't get a new high - high voltage."

Pah-dum-tss.
