Adele has announced via her personal blog that she is with child. The father is boyfriend Simon Konecki, also British, also a singer, also often swathed in layers upon layers of fabrics while out strolling the streets of London.

The announcement reads:

I've got some news...

Im delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time. Yours always, Adele xx

That baby better behave itself if it doesn't want all its crazy baby antics immortalized on an album forever. In just a few years we could be singing hits like, "Set Fire to the Playroom," if the little rascal doesn't clean up after itself. Or even "Rumour Has It (You Didn't Brush Your Teeth)." But probably not.
