Nick,

I'm doing a piece for CJR on the effects that "Kinja" could have on young writers. If you've got time, I'd like to hear your thoughts: give me a call at [redacted] or email me: [redacted].

I know this isn't your main concern, but what do you think? Could eliminating the distinction between staff writers and commenters make it tougher for those writers to make it in the media industry? And if content from unpaid commenters and paid writers can be treated equally, why would anyone pay writers?

Thanks,
Peter
