Owner of Ohio Restaurant Passed Away Shortly After Serving POTUS Breakfast
President Obama, who is currently on the second day of a two-day bus tour through Ohio and Pennsylvania, stopped by Ann's Place in Akron this morning where he was greeted by the restaurant's 70-year-old owner Josephine "Ann" Harris.
The president had breakfast — two eggs over easy, bacon, wheat toast, and grits — and left the establishment after 45 minutes.
Sadly, less than an hour after meeting Obama, Harris' health took a turn for the worst. She was taken to the hospital, but was pronounced dead of an apparent heart attack shortly after arrival.
"I'm sure this was her highlight," said Harris' sister Frankie Adkins referring to the visit from POTUS. "She loved Obama."
