Bigot in pilgrim's clothing Kirk Cameron is flapping his gums about marriage again, this time for the hilariously named Marriage Anti-Defamation Alliance, a branch of NOM, which is an organization devoted to defaming gay people and treating them like they are subhuman, impossible of experiencing love and basic civil rights.

In a recent video called Kirk Cameron: Champion of Marriage that's bound to go viral for its shittiness and WTFy lack of reason, Cameron is cast as a pariah because people dared to answer his ignorance and intolerance regarding gay people. When will those with compassion ever learn that when homophobic shitheads speak, you listen and shut up? So here he is again, babbling:

If we want a great future in this world, um, we have to take God at his word and and and God makes it really clear that society and civilization is really held together by the glue of families. I mean, this is where the next generation of human beings are incubated and nurtured and matured — in homes, in families. And so, we want that to be a place of health and happiness, a place of joy and forgiveness. It needs to be a home that is filled with faith and in order to have that home, marriages need to be strong, because that's ultimate gonna serve as the foundation of our family, right? ...Is a strong marriage, so, when a man and a woman come together and they say, 'I do,' they are committing for a lifetime to love each other and to model what love is and what forgiveness is and what joy is to their kids.

You see what he did there? He made all sorts of implications about gay couples' inability to foster health, happiness, joy and forgiveness in their lives without actually mentioning homosexuals. In fact, he doesn't address gay people directly during his almost four minutes of drivel. Wuss.

In times like these, I think it is valuable to call on words of Dorian Corey as heard in Paris is Burning, because Cameron's is some textbook shade: "Shade is: I don't tell you you're ugly, but I don't have to tell you because you know you're ugly."

That is to say that Kirk Cameron's anti-gay rhetoric is pretty fucking gay.
