When Bad Pranks Go Bad: Man Beats Up Internet Pranksters for Pretending He Was Marked for Execution
Florida-based YouTube prankster Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, who was last seen almost getting shot while pretending to be a zombie, has finally gone too far.
For his latest humdinger, Zdorovetskiy and an accomplice, 20-year-old Jonathan Vanegas, attempted to fool Boca Raton residents into believing they were being targeted by a Russian hitman with an ostensibly explosive briefcase.
Unfortunately for the pair, they happened across a man having an extraordinarily bad day who was in no mood for mock-execution games. After "falling prey" to the gag, the mark went nuclear, assaulting the practical jokers and swiping their cell phone.
Eventually the police got involved, as did the bomb squad, and Vanegas ended up spending the night behind bars on a felony bomb hoax charge. Zdorovetskiy was later slapped with the same charge.
It is unknown if the prank's victim, identified as 51-year-old Andre Brown, will be charged for striking his tormentors.
