In 2011, the Ann D. Romney Blind Trust held more than $1 million in the fund, and earned between $100,000 and $1,000,000 in income. In 2006, the Ann Romney Trust held more than $1 million, and earned between $100,000 and $1,000,000.

The 2010 income tax returns of both the Ann and Mitt Romney 1995 Family Trust and the Ann D. Romney Blind Trust report income from the fund's general partner, Bain Capital Partners VIII LP.

Bain Capital VIII Coinvestment Fund LP is a limited partnership based in the Cayman Islands. It shares a general partner with Bain Capital Fund VIII LP and is primarily concerned, according to its audited financial statements, with investing "in certain transactions concurrently with Bain Capital Fund VIII LP." As of 2009, it held $481 million in assets and reported a $124 million increase in capital for the year.

In 2010, the Ann D. Romney Blind Trust held between $100,000 and $250,000 of, and earned between $100,000 and $1 million from, the coinvestment fund, according to financial disclosures. In 2006, the Ann Romney Trust held between $50,000 and $100,000 in the coinvestment fund, and earned between $5,000 and $15,000.
