Serial Hit-And-Run Suspect Amanda Bynes Slapped with Charges, May See Slammer
Amanda Bynes can't seem to stop being suspected of hit-and-run accidents.
The "hot mess" actress has been involved in at least four incidents in the last few months, the most recent of which took place on August 4th.
After Bynes allegedly struck a BMW and fled the scene, prosecutors at the L.A. City Attorney's Office decided to re-open a hit-and-run case from April that was closed due to lack of independent eyewitnesses.
Someone must have come forward, because Bynes has now been charged for her involvement in both incidents.
Combined, the two misdemeanor counts carry a maximum of one year behind bars. Bynes is set to make a court appearance on September 27th.
She is still on the hook for a DUI charge to which she pleaded not guilty in June.
