You'll laugh, you'll cry — scratch that, you won't cry.

And neither will these four manly men who've been called together by filmmaker Brent Hoff for the first annual Crying Competition.

The rules are simple: Make yourself cry. Easier said than sob, apparently, because none of them succeed, even with 25 minutes on the clock.

Watch the first four minutes to hear commentary from the contestants hilariously describing what was going through their minds as they were attempting to weep, or fast forward to 4:05 to watch Wholphin assistant producer Emily put the men to shame by crying like a girl.

You should also check out the second Crying Competition, which was far more successful, and, if you have time, Hoff's Love Competition, in which contestants have five minutes to love as much as they can.
