John "Lloyd Dobler" Cusack and Peter "In Your Eyes" Gabriel were briefly reunited last night at the Hollywood Bowl when the former joined the latter on stage... to give him a boombox.

In a "reenactment" of the iconic scene from Cameron Crowe's 1989 classic romcom Say Anything... (which was Crowe's directorial debut), Cusack handed Gabriel a boombox and quickly existed stage right without saying anything (see what I did there?).

Crowe was also in attendance at the show — which celebrated the 25th anniversary of Gabriel's best-known album So — and tweeted about it, prompting Cusack to tell his fans to follow Crowe and "occasionally suggest" to him that the two work together again.
