Serbian Widower Has Late Wife's Flower Engraved on Her Tombstone

Just before she passed away three years ago, Milan Marinkovic's wife of 50 years made one final request of her husband: Don't replace me.

And to ensure that he kept that promise, Milena instructed Milan to have a likeness of her vulva engraved on her tombstone using photos taken specifically for that purpose.
Milena's dying wish wasn't easy to fulfill. According to the 72-year-old, several sculptors refused, saying it was "blasphemy."
And even after one finally agreed, the result was not without controversy: Milan recalls his brother-in-law asking why the bird on Milena's grave had such a large beak.
"I couldn't help but laugh," Milan said.
