Some newspapers both here and abroad went to bed too early to call the presidential election for President Obama.

Recalling the Chicago Tribune's infamous "Dewey Defeats Truman" declaration, the Dutch tabloid Sp!ts came up with a novel way of getting the facts right before knowing what the right facts are.

The Amsterdam-based daily decided to cover both bases by printing two front pages side by side with two potential presidential election outcomes. Above each cover, the paper placed the disclaimer "If [the other candidate] won, skip page."

Surprisingly, Mitt Romney's page does not include the words "your adventure ends here."
