This DeLorean Taxi Isn't Real at the Present Time, But in the Future it Might Be

This upgraded NYC taxi (or downgraded flying DeLorean) "exists nowhere outside my photoshop files and the jpgs that are circulating around the internet these days," says designer Mike Lubrano.

The concept cab was created by Lubrano and Kim Yau to promote the 25th anniversary Blu-ray and DVD release of Back to the Future as part of an student advertising-design competition.
The images have since made the Internet rounds, convincing more than a few fans to run down the length of Manhattan's grid in search of the souped-up hackney carriage.
True, the car is currently just as fictional as its cinematic counterpart, but who's to say what the future holds? Besides Dr. Emmett Brown, that is.
