Child Hurled from Car After Harrowing Crash Narrowly Avoids Getting Run Over by Truck
An infant in Russia came thisclose to getting crush beneath the wheels of a truck after being tossed onto the icy pavement following a collision between her family's Mitsubishi and a big rig.
Baby Milana is lucky to be alive, as dash-cam footage of the harrowing accident on a highway near Nizhny Novgorod clearly shows.
But the one-year-old still suffered several facial lacerations and contusions, and was also being evaluated for head trauma.
Officers investigating the crash noted that Milana was not properly secured in a car seat, but was instead "just laying" in the back of the car.
