Furious at the world, human ball of fire Beyoncé just opened her first press conference since her infamous Lip-Synch Beytrayal by belting out a live, a capella rendition of The Star-Spangled Banner.

After she was announced, Beyoncé walked to the podium and asked all of the media present to stand. (Didn't seem that unusual. Maybe she always does that when she walks into a room?)

Then she let loose.

Following the performance, she accepted questions (and many compliments) from the audience regarding her recent controversy. Here she is confirming that she sang live and used a backing track at the inauguration:

Beyoncé added that she would "absolutely" sing live at Sunday's halftime show.

"I will absolutely be singing live. This is what I was born to do."

She also refused to confirm that Destiny's Child would use the opportunity to reunite onstage, though we already know that's happening because Michelle Williams is a bad liar.

At the end of the press conference, for reasons unclear, a reporter asked Beyoncé what color toothbrush she uses.

(Blue and white. Or maybe blue and yellow. She wasn't sure.)
